Considerations Before Bidding

All items are sold as is, where is with all faults. All descriptions are believed accurate but cannot be guaranteed.

The location of each item is displayed within its lot listing. I will take transport costs and availability into consideration before committing to bid.

By placing a bid I acknowledge that I have read the lot information and am satisfied with it.

Registration

When registering to bid I will be asked to provide a valid credit card. Registration is by credit card only.

Bidding registration is considered complete when I confirm my bidding account within the Bidsonline auction portal.

Bidding registration is accepted up until 3:45 pm on the day of the auction.

Bidding

By placing a bid I acknowledge I have accepted the information on the lot I am bidding on and have deemed it to be to my satisfaction.

Andrew Wilson & Co have the right to reject bids at their discretion, including bids from suspended or banned bidders.

I understand that defaulting on a winning bid will result in a ban from placing further bids at future Andrew Wilson & Co auctions.

Bids placed in error cannot be cancelled. I will always verify my bid before clicking Submit.

Winning the Bid

All final bid prices include GST (where applicable).

A 10% Buyers Premium applies to all horses and items sold through Andrew Wilson & Co auctions.

Payment must be made on the day of purchase without exception.

As a winning bidder I will be contacted by email by an Andrew Wilson & Co staff member after the sale to confirm my successful payment. I will then be provided with vendor contact details for collection or postage of my purchased item.

Collection of Horses

As the purchaser I am responsible for the cost of horse transport and will arrange collection in consultation with the vendor within 7 days of the auction's conclusion.

Ownership transfers at the fall of the hammer. Once the horse is knocked down to me as the winning bidder I become responsible for all costs relating to the horse including any farriery or veterinary costs incurred from that point. The vendor will continue to provide feed and basic care until collection. Should I fail to collect within 7 days, I acknowledge the vendor may charge agistment at a reasonable daily rate until the horse is collected.

Responsibility for Lot Items

Ownership transfers at the fall of the hammer. The vendor remains responsible for the security of an item until it is collected by the new purchaser. Once the item is knocked down to me as the winning bidder I become responsible for all other costs(including postage) in relation to the item from that point forward.

Declaration

I have read, understood and agree to the Terms and Conditions above. I understand that by registering to bid and placing a bid I am entering into a legally binding contract with Andrew Wilson & Co. Should I default on these terms Andrew Wilson & Co have the right to refuse any future bids and to take action to recover any amounts owed.
